One of many instances where the customer (a claimant nonetheless) was lead to believe they must take their vehicle to a Geico captive/DRP repair shop to have an inspection performed. An estimate was provided to the claimant that did not cover all the repairs necessary, resulting in a Supplement that was almost triple the original estimate. Being directed to another shop because a vehicle can be driven is a form of steering even if it is only for an estimate. This unfortunate situation of having to have your car repaired after someone runs into It was unnecessarily prolonged and could have been avoided. Please investigate, thank you
