Dept of Insurance:On April 8,09 Nationwide rep. Beth Walcome arrived at our facility to appraise damages on Mr. Ferrell's 06' Kia Optima.She was told the vehicle was on our lot and i will meet her there.When I arrived on the lot to greet Beth Walcome she was involved in trying to remove scratches in the left headlight.I told her I didn't authorize her to work on the vehicle she then after repairing the headlight she stated that there was no need for a headlight now and preceded to take photo's.In matter of a few short minutes she was ready to complete viewing vehicle and write estimate.I asked her if she noticed the left front wheel that had damages in it and that it needs to be replace.? She was surprised,she then started to tell me that wheel seemed suspicious and that Nationwide is investigating claims the area consumers put in collision claims witch seem fraudulent.I reminded her that she is here to view damages and write estimate not to make allegations of fraud on the consumer.Needless to say she refused to replace the wheel and allowed only repair time of 4hrs.She then was ready to leave,i asked her did she notice the bumper had crack in the left upper corner and deep scratch on the side and it needs to be replaced.She again was surprised that she never noticed it and I had to physically show her the torn section and she said that she will not pay for a new bumper and only paid 2hrs for repair it.I explained to her that it was not repairable since it was a structure part of the bumper that is fastened to the fender.She again refused to replace another part needed.It is obvious Beth has never repaired or worked on a vehicle to understand it needed to be replaced.Beth Walcome has caused numerous disruptions and costly,inadequete estimates in the repair process at our facility.I,m requesting this matter to be looked into and notify Nationwide and to re-assign another Representive to our facility from now on.Beth Walcome is a poor representative of Nationwide and the Physical Appraisers Act.Thank You, Dan DiLoretto
