Complaint Comments:
Progressive representative, Dave Abel refused to reinspect the customer vehicle for related repairs from the above captioned claim#, he refused to reinspect, saying that the procedure we needed to complete, was not necessary, and did'nt warrent any payment(blend adjacent roof and tail gate panels and left bumper end). Progressive is tring to avoid paying for necessary procedures, that are necessary to restore the vehicle to pre-loss condition. Progressive is being biased or prejudice agianst my shop, saying we are a "coalition" or "guild" shop. What does this mean? Is there something wrong with my shop? I also believe Dave Able acted unprofessionally by offering, to me, an unsolicited number of shops that could "match the paint without blending", and calling the customer to tell them that I'm being "unreasonable". My customer is a claiment and is due to be made 100% whole, not have there vehicle only partially repaired. I ask the DOI and Pa. Senator Brightbill to intervien on behalf of the consumer, that these necessary repairs be paid for, without bias or prejudice as it state's in Act 367. Thanks in advance, Gary McGarvey.
