Department Of Insurance: Please be advised we have been told that the use of aftermarket crash parts listed on an appraisal by National Appraisal Service's appraiser Mr. Stephen Wilkenson will not be changed to OEM parts. We have shown Mr. Wilkenson that the parts supplied by his vendor to be NOT "in a condition equivalent to, or better than the condition of the replaced parts prior to the accident." as per the state's regulation guidelines. Mr. Wilkenson advised that due to AIG Insurance Company's guidelines he is unable to change his apprasial even if we can prove differences between the aftermarket parts and the original equipment parts.
