Complaint Comments:

The vehicle in the above-referenced loss was hit on the right front wheel and fender. The right front wheel was visibly pushed back from the force of the impact. The right front tire and wheel were visibly damaged and were replaced in the appraisal. In addition, the steering wheel was not straight when the front wheels were straight ahead. Mr. Kehoe inspected the vehicle on 6-23-06. At the conclusion of his inspection, I asked him if he addressed the front wheel damage and alignment. He said there was no need for the alignment, and that the right front wheel and suspension were not pushed back. I showed him that the steering wheel was not centered when the front wheels were straight, but he refused to admit that he could see the problem and refused to align the front end. In addition, I tried to show him, using my right hand as a measuring tool, that the right front wheel was back approximately 1/2", but he refused to look at what I attempted to show him. He said that he used the same method to determine that the wheel was not back. I again tried to show him, and asked him to look at the difference between sides, but, although we were at the vehicle, he refused to even look at the obvious indicators that there was severe damage to the front suspension of the vehicle.'
