PCTG Consumer Complaint Report Record ID#: 1326301304

Date of Report Submission: 01/11/12

Complaint Comments:

My son was driving to work on Dec 29, 2009 in my 1999 Subaru Legacy when he was shot thru the window on the drivers side. The car was taken to the police station as evidence. An appraiser (Bob Grove) went to look at the car on Feb 17, 2010, and issued me a check for $363.81 to replace the broken windows. The car was released in Dec 2011, which was two years after the incident. The car had received more damaged by sitting in the weather for the long period. The car only had 67,000 miles at the time of the accident and I had just put 4 new tires on it costing me $682.73. I feel I should be offered the car's value on the date of the accident two years ago. I am hoping that if they use that amount, that they will be able to fix my car and return it to me. I would really prefer to have my car back instead of the money for it.
