Complaint Comments:
Appraiser Reginald Foxworth determined on 8 October 2014 that the loss on claim number 994035-GA was not covered by our RV policy since the damage was not the result of a sudden, direct, or accidental event and there was no evidence of an impact. He did not discuss any results of the appraiser with the repair facility representative other than stating that the damage was probably not covered. He did not provide the repair facility with a copy of the claim "collision" claim and omitted his license number from the denial which was emailed directly to my spouse. The damage was never claimed due to "collision" but was clearly caused while towing the travel trailer on poorly maintained roadways. Further, the damage was primarily internal to the trailer due to right side frame torque such that the countertop split in two, separated from the right interior and other extensive internal damage to flooring etc. He also did not discuss repair actions obviously due to immediate conclusion that the "collision" loss was not covered.
