Complaint Comments:
Upon requesting and being supplied a copy of his appraisers license, there is inconsistencies as noted below. The appraisers license notes: Christopher M Paul. The appraisal notes: "Chris Paul", followed by the license number. Upon presenting his appraisal to me to review, line by line, Mr. Paul refused to do so, saying he already wasted 45 minutes of his time. Again, when requested to go over his appraisal line by line, he again refused, citing, wasting his time. I brought to his attention the urgency of the Insured needs, and it was immaterial to Mr. Paul's "waste of time". Mr. Paul has yet to contact Penn Dell to go over the appraisal that he prepared. I then contacted Mr. Anthony Malara License # 139088, Mr. Paul's Supervisor. As can be seen, he also is a Licensed Appraiser. I asked that he personally inspect the damages. His comments were that based upon the "Photos" in the file, he would concur with Mr. Paul's allowances. Licensed Appraisers are not permitted to make conclusions of damages, based upon photos, as Mr. Malara did. Additionally, Mr. Paul's appraisal, fails to note a mailing address as well as additional information, as required by the Act and Regulations.
