RO # 1218 State Farm Claim # 38-5133-82601 2004 Honda Civic Si March 16, 2005 Original Estimate w/ T.J. Kehoe. T. J. refused to write repair time on front body upper radiator support of this vehicle. Evidence suggested that the support was back roughly ½ inch (tested by measuring the gaps between the headlamps and the radiator support, and noting that they were not the same measurement.) T.J. utilized a home made tram gauge to measure out the front upper body measurements of this vehicle. The front upper body did (X) out, but that does not mean that the support was not back. The support might have been pushed back evenly. March 23, 2005 We received replacement hood (OEM) today. Proceeded to fit hood and observed that it would not close. The hood lock was too far back to latch. From this point we printed upper body specs provided by Motor E-Frame. The measurement was set to a tram gauge which showed the support to be back. All of the evidence was there proving that the radiator support required repair. Another supplement request was submitted. Later that day T.J. denied supplement. He reviewed our findings and adjusted our tram gauge to show that the upper body would (X) out, even though the hood would not shut and the measurement was off. March 23, 2005 Rick contacted Ron Constageola (Claims Supervisor for State Farm), and explained situation. We could not put this vehicle back to pre-loss condition until some repair work was done to the radiator support. Nothing will line up and the hood will never close. The supplement was approved a day or two later. April 5, 2005 A final supplement was now created and submitted to State Farm for some rocker molding clips and an emblem. It was suggested that these items be replaced on the original estimate, since they would bread during the removal process. At this point we were at a stop on repairs until these items were approved. April7, 2005 Final supplement approved. *4 Days wasted arguing over radiator support*
