NJ Manufacturers Insurance Co. sent out an independent adjuster to my place of employment to review the damages on my vehicle. This was conducted on a cloudy, day with light rain in the parking lot. The subsequently sent an estimate after two (2) weeks that did not include all of the damages to the car. I subsequently took the car to a local repair shop (North Star Automotive) to get a second-opinion estimate. At that point the trained eye of the appraiser at North Shore noticed additional damage to the door, caused by NJ Manufturers insured and appraised the damage at a different amount that the estimate from NJ Manufacturers Ins. Co. I do not want the car enhanced in any way. I just want it back to its original condition prior to the event that took place on 10/19/2009. I am trusting North Star Automotive to do this work and they will provide to me a warranty of repair. The owner/appraiser is licensed in the state of PA. I do not have the appraisers license from NJ Manufacturers. The estimate from NJ Manufacturers does not include all of the damages, quotes a "repair" instead of a required replacement for the damages, all parts are quoted as non-OEM, and have provided an incomplete listing of the damages that occured.
