Complaint Comments:
Recently the auto manufactures came out with position statements. They are stating vehicles involved in a collision must have the electronics scanned. Cars today are so complex with back up cameras, distance sensors and blind spot sensors just to list a few. They want us to make sure everything is calibrated so the driver is properly protected. It is my opinion that State Farm Insurance is violating the PENNSYLVANIA UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES AND CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW. I have complained to the insurance commission but they do not understand and have been no help. State Farm has refused to pay for this required operation. We do this operation and expect to be paid. The liability is on the shop doing the repair. I cannot knowing send a car out on the street if I think it may be unsafe. Attached is an example from Honda please read it. We appreciate your help in trying to keep our PA consumers safe. I have also emailed our Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
