PCTG Consumer Complaint Report Record ID#: 1504725192

Date of Report Submission: 09/06/17

Complaint Comments:

Miss Thomas had her estimate prepared through the quick photo app and brought her car in to our shop to have it scheduled. Once Miss Thomas arrived it was obvious that the car had severe suspension damage and should not be driven in its current condition. Michael Acon labeled the damage to the wheel as prior damage, if an Allstate adjuster had inspected this in person they would have noticed the alignment issues and labeled the car as non drive. The average person is not trained to inspect damage therefor will not take sufficient photos to ensure all damage is addressed, If Miss Thomas did not stop in to our shop and get into a rental someone could have been seriously injured from the continued use of a car with severely damaged suspension. It seems that it is time to take a good look at who photo estimates benefit and who the hurt and why they were illegal for so many years.
