Complaint Comments:

The use of the "quick photo claim" service that Allstate is offering to customers is in violation of the Unfair Ins. Practices Act Title 40, Ch.4, specifically "If an insurer prepares an appraisal of the cost of automobile repairs, the appraisal shall be in an amount for which it may be reasonably expected the damage can be satisfactorily repaired". Allstate is taking a 5% parts discount on the estimates that are being handled through the "qfc" program, in taking this discount they are underpaying on every claim therefore not preparing the appraisal for an amount that the consumer can expect to have their automobile repaired for.
