I'm reaching out to you out of frustration and desperation due to the situation I'm in. I was in a hit and run accident a couple of weeks ago, and when taking my car to the Auto Bod shop, I was confronted with two options. One option was to replace the door panel, and the other option is to repair that panel. The Auto Body shop has had four separate licensed adjusters review the damage to the door, and three out of the four (including a separate Progressive Adjuster, Jeff) agree that it warrants replacement to ensure a proper repair that will last the lifetime of the vehicle. Unfortunately, the fourth appraiser, Erik Abraham, decided that the door panel should not be replaced, but instead, should be repaired, which is the complaint I am writing to you about today. In addition, Erik went beyond this and started marking up my car with a non-erasable marker on parts of the car which I had specified not to include in the repair.
