State Farm is refusing to pay for repairs that are required based on BMW repair procedures, the damages to this vehicle fit the criteria for a steering gear and hub and bearing replacement, however State Farm claims is stating they have a difference of opinion. This isn't about an opinion this is a matter of a MUST DO repair procedure, State Farms failure to do this is in direct violation of the appraisers act that states Because an appraiser is charged with a high degree of regard for the public safety, the operational safety of the vehicle shall be paramount in considering the specification of new parts. This consideration is vitally important where the parts involved pertain to the drive train, steering gear, suspension units, brake system or tires. State Farm is refusing to acknowledge a BMW repair procedure that directly pertains to the safety of the vehicle and its passengers.
