Complaint Comments:
In 2019 we preformed repairs to Mrs. Vaksman's 2018 Audi A5 that was in a front end collision, they recently came back for us to inspect what they thought could be a paint workmanship issue on the replacement hood of their Audi. We inspected the car with them and in our opinion looked to be damage from something getting on the car and eating away at the paint. We then took the step to have our paint rep come out and do a study of the damage to verify what we were seeing, they came out did a chemical study and determined that the damage was caused by an acidic material splashing onto the hood and eating away at the material. At this point we suggested opening a claim for the damages with their insurance and they agreed, a travelers adjuster came out and identified it as workmanship based on his opinion. The matter was elevated to claims specialists who have all documentation stating it was acidic material that got onto the hood but they are sticking with their appraisers opinion not the facts at hand and denying the claim. I will be uploading paint study to complaint to support our stance.
