APPRAISER FROM PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE COMPANY AS USUAL WILL NOT PAY SHOP TO BLEND ADJACENT "RED METALLIC" COLOR DIRECTLY NEXT TO A PANEL BEING REPLACED AND ONE BEING REPAIRED AND REFINISHED. APPRAISER CLAIMS THAT "SIGHT LINE" OF ADJACENT PANEL COLOR WILL NOT CONFLICT WITH NEW COLOR SPRAYED IN COURSE OF REPAIRS. WHAT IS A SIGHT LINE ? IS THIS SOME NEW PROGRESSIVE TERMINOLOGY TO DENY THE USUAL AND CUSTOMARY REFINISH GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY MOST MAJOR PAINT COMPANIES AND THEIR TRAINING METHODS ? APPRAISER REFUSED TO PAY SHOP FOR TINTING COLOR. APPRAISER WILL ONLY PAY SHOP FOR "PARTIAL" REFINISH TIME ON DAMAGED PANELS WHEN ASKED WHY HE WAS REFUSING TO PAY FOR OEM HEADLAMPS FROM FORD I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE THE SAME COMPANY THAT PROBABLY MAKES THEM FOR FORD. APPRAISER REFUSED TO PAY FOR NEEDED PROCEDURE OF "DENIBBING" AND POLISHING THE FRESHLY PAINTED PANELS. HIS REMARK AS TO WHY, WAS THAT IT WAS OUR FAULT BECAUSE WE PROBABLY HAD A DIRTY PAINT BOOTH. APPRAISER REFUSED TO PAY A LABOR FEE TO COVER & BAG CAR FOR THE PRIMER AS WELL AS THE PAINT PROCEDURES. ONLY A PAYMENT FOR THE RAW MATERIAL WAS ALLOWED CLAIMING THAT IT IS INCLUDED IN PAINT TIME. APPRAISER REFUSED TO PAY SHOP FOR "CLEAN FOR DELIVERY"
