Please review this complaint and ask Progressive to stop this unprofessional business conduct. The appraiser refused to accept our verbal request for a supplement that was called in. After I filed the initinal complaint on this claim, the salvage yard called & notified us that the used parts they quoted to Progressive were damaged and that they will not be sent them out. I called and related this information to Dan Cunningham, I aslo informed him that the vehicle still has damage (sustained from this impact) and needed additional repair procedures to be complete while the vehicle is in procees of being repaired. He informed me that I supposably had an agreement with Progressive that I had to send him a fax over with my findings and he will determine if he will or will not come out to the shop. I then explained to Dan that I did in the past (once) send a fax over to Progressive (for only that particular claim) only to be told be the inside claim's handler that these requests were not necessary over the telephone, and that there would be no need for Progressive to sent out an appraiser to complete and finalize the requested supplement. I asking for assitance from the DOI to have this unprofessional conduct stopped immediately. Thank You.
