Complaint Comments:
To Pennsylvania DOI: 'On November 11th Mr. Upshaw was involved in an auto accident, he notified his insurance company and established a claim with CUNA Mutual Ins. Co. His Insurance Company assigned the claim to PDA Appraisals. Mr. Upshaw made arrangement with Mr. Joe Rosato to come out to his residence to appraise the damages to his vehicle on Saturday November 18th.'He then would have the vehicle brought to GA Collision Center to complete the repairs. Mr. Joe Rosato came out to Mr. Upshaw's residence on Saturday morning, saw the damaged vehicle and the towing company waiting to have the vehicle towed to GA Collision Center after the completion of the inspection that morning. Mr. Joe Rosato started to examine the damages, he asked and found out that the vehicle was been towed to GA Collision Center, then Mr. Rosato started to tell the owner that he does not do business with unreasonable people because we at GA Collision Center are unreasonable and we do unethical and unreasonable supplements and he will let the Insurance Company know about this, he then told Mr. Upshaw to make arrangement to have his vehicle somewhere else but there, and that he will finish this assignment and send it to the Insurance Company and mail the estimate to Mr. Upshaw house address. We contact the owner on the following week to find out if he receive the estimate in the mail, Mr. Upshaw had to contacted his Insurance Company to find out that Mr. Rosato told the inside claims represenitive to have the owner make arrangements to remove the vehicle from GA Collision Center so that he could complete his estimate, the owner refused to do so, and requested that the Company should hire another appraisal firm. On November 28th CUNA' claim represenitive called Mr. Upshaw and us, informed both that Mr. Joe Rosato will not be appraising this vehicle do to the prier bad relationship he had with the shop personnel. CUNA hired another Appraiser company to complete the appraisal. This unprofessional behavior from Mr. Rosato caused delays, hardship and extra out of pocket expenses for transportation to Mr. Upshaw, while Mr. Rosato delayed the claim by not responding sooner to the inside claim represenitive with his personal issues.
