Complaint Comments:
To. Pennsylvania Department of Insurance: On May 29, 2008 Westfield Insurance Co assigned a Mr. Paul Amicone #519288 to stop by our repair facility to inspect damages to our consumer's vehicle under repairs. Mr. Amicone signed in at our facility at 10:55AM - Mr. Amicone signed out at our repair facility at 11:03AM. (copy attached). This identifies 8 minutes for Mr. Amicone to perform his appraiser responsibilities.' Mr. Paul Amicone refused to leave a copy of his appraisal at our facility at the time of his inspection. Mr. Paul Amicone did not review his appraisal with the authorized representative of the consumer. - Clear violation of the Appraisal Law & Regulation. Mr. Paul Amicone did not appraise for the "Actual Cost" of repairs to our consumer's vehicle. Thus Westfield Insurance Co has not paid the "Actual Cost" for the repairs. '' Mr. Paul Amicone utilized a copy of our Repair Order and viewed the damages with our facility's representative. Mr. Amicone documented the damages utilizing his camera taking many photos of said damages.' On May 30th at 11:11AM Mr. Paul Amicone faxed over a "Supplemental delta report" for additional damages. No formal appraisal or estimate of the assignment required by Pa State Law. His delta report is under-appraised @ $1,800.58 without any factual documentation for us to audit for our consumer. Please investigate our claim against Westfield Insurance Co and their Staff Appraiser Mr. Paul Amicone whose market behavior is deplorable. Thanks You, Stephen Behrndt, Pres.
