Complaint Comments:
I paid $400.00 cash to Mr. Anderson on 9/23/16 to paint and repair scratches to my 2007 BMW 530xi. I wanted to use a credit card but he would only accept cash. He did not collect sales tax. He did not provide me with a receipt at the time and accepted the cash as payment in full for these services. Later when I sued Mr. Anderson for a separate matter, he produced a fictitious invoice for these services dated 11/23/16, stating that the job cost $900 and that I now owe him money. He also invoiced me for services on my other vehicle, a 1999 Mercedes Benz, which I never authorized and is refusing to return the Mercedes Benz to me even with a court order! The invoice fails to note the mileage, the VIN or the correct year make and model for the vehicles in question. As a business owner myself, I believe his business practices are very questionable. It is beyond my area of expertise, but I don't believe his shop is in compliance with any OSHA or EPA practice standards. There is no ventilation system, running water of fire extinguishers. I don't think he should be allowed to operate in the state of Pennsylvania.
