Complaint Comments:
After agreeing to put a door skin on claimants car, Shop called Mr. Demarco for supplement.The amount he allowed for door skin adhesive was $12.00. Or cost plus mark up for skin kit = $66.12. And the seam sealer was not included That was $36.62plus mark up= $48.78 The the shop faxed the invoices per his request His reply was that's the cost of doing business . And paid $ 36.35. The Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers Act States in section 31 62.3 (2) the appraise must make a clear indiction of the cost or dollar amount of specified items, to rerturn vehicle to pre loss condition. He returned my call and said company policy was to pay that amount. That also is a violation , As in a non Independant Apprasial !
