Complaint Comments:
I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on 08/21/2025. My vehicle was towed by Mark at Brothers Auto Repair in Lansdowne, PA. I wasn't given the opportunity to have my car towed to a repair shop of my choice. The driver of the tow truck is also employed by Brothers Auto. The insurance company, First Chicago Insurance Company sent an appraiser to prepare an estimate of repair. The adjuster found the vehicle a total loss. However, Brothers Auto was paid via three supplements totaling $15,671.92 less $1,014.25 which was my deductible. The car value at the time of loss was approximately $12,500.00. Brothers Auto had my vehicle for six weeks. I picked up my car and the instrument panel was illuminated with mostly every symbol. The windshield was not cracked when my vehicle was originally towed. However, when I took delivery of my vehicle, my windshield was cracked. I immediately brought the vehicle back to Brothers Auto and advised them of the issues with my car. I was advised that I would have to take the car back to where I purchased it to have any electrical work repaired. I went to the place that I purchased the vehicle and was advised that since it was an auto accident, my insurance company must repair the vehicle. I was without a vehicle several weeks for four times. I had to bring my vehicle back to Brothers Auto to have my car aligned four times. The car is not safe to drive. I contacted Brothers Auto last week and spoke to Mark. Mark agreed to fix the windshield and advised me that I would have to contact my insurance company to have the claim reopened. I contacted my insurance company and was advised that the auto body shop that performed the repairs would have the claim reopened since they performed the work on my vehicle. I have left several messages for Mark at Brothers Auto a
