PCTG Consumer Complaint Report Record ID#: 9598950075

Date of Report Submission: 04/22/26

Complaint Comments:

Allstate requested for the vehicle owner (3rd party claimant) to use their photo app to obtain an estimated cost of repairs, before they could bring their 2018 Chevy Traverse LZ1 AWD to our shop for any repairs. Along with vehicle owner we compared the initial photo app estimated cost of repairs Barrett True prepared on behalf of Allstate March 29, 2026 VS vehicle's actual physical damage that required a supplemental inspection for Allstate to address all damage(s) caused from this accident, including adjustments with OEM parts VS non existing USED parts they've addressed, additional new parts, labor, refinishing, line items, procedures & etc.. Barrett True prepared an inaccurate damage descriptions with many underestimated repairs and underpayments by omission(s) that Allstate presented to the vehicle owner. With the vehicle owner's consent on April 2nd, we submitted a supplemental request demanding a physical damage inspections as per the "PA CODE" and waited for Allstate to reassign a local PA Licensed appraise to come out to our shop and complete their supplemental assignment, no one came only a telephone call from D'Omar Cabrera asking us to share our shop's supplemental repair guide along with photos documenting the damage, a weeks later on April 20th we received another inaccurate description of repairs approved by Allstate without a physical inspection, omitting the majority of the required repairs, parts & etc.. necessary to repair and return this vehicle back to its pre-loss condition as best as humanly possible within the GM's specs and the automotive standards of repairs and operations. This unprofessional conduct only delays the claims process, which causes many PA consumers to spend money out of pocket for omitted repairs from an recent accident, and for additional rental expenses especially on this claim, Allstate applied a rental reimbursement so the VO needs to fund the rental company while they vehicle's repairs are being delayed.... This is a normal business conduct we're are experiencing with Allstate and with all the other insurance companies doing business in the state of Pennsylvania, are the "PA CODE" Laws and Regulations in affect?
